05 Aug West Palm Beach Important
Subject: You Made August Awesome (And Yes, We’re Now a Year-Round Party)
Dear West Palm Beach Vendors,
Well, that was something.
Thanks for an incredible August show! We put more people through the doors than we did in July, June, May, and April and more than any month in 2024 except February. Apparently, Florida has decided that “season” is just a myth—and antiques are now a year-round sport.
Winter space is gonna be tight, so if you want in, don’t wait. This snowbird rodeo is filling up fast.
Let’s be honest: no one’s coming to this show to see me. They’re not buying tickets to meet “Jon from Indiana.” They’re coming to see you—the real stars of the show—and the rave reviews prove it. You crushed it.
Speaking of tickets—this was our first time using Eventbrite, and we had zero expectations. Like, we expected three sales and maybe a confused robot. Instead, they sold over 450 advance tickets, with 350 going to brand-new customers. Apparently, Eventbrite sells 250 million tickets a year. So yeah, we’ll be sticking with them. They’ve earned a fridge magnet.
Now, let’s talk about how good the show looked. Last August, we rented 20 wall panels. This August? 150. More of you are renting walls and showcases and turning your booths into vintage boutiques of glory. Meanwhile, I’ve been hitting Home Depot like a paint-huffing raccoon. Pretty sure the guy at the paint counter thinks I’m drinking the Baer Ultra White Semi-Gloss.
And we’re not done. Black pipe and drape are coming soon. It’s going to look like an antique opera house in there.
There are about 10 spaces left for the September show, and they will absolutely sell out. We’ll stay in the East Expo through November, and it looks like Buildings 6–10 will open in October or November. The expansion is real. We’re gonna need a golf cart traffic cop.
Thank you all for your hustle, your style, your booths, and your belief in what we’re building. We’re just getting started.
Want in for September or beyond? Text me at 317-431-0118 or email jonjindpls@gmail.com. Operators (me) are standing by.
Stay weird and sell cool stuff,
Jon & The West Palm Beach Team
