28 May Set up Instructions in the style of Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin
Dear Dealers,
From the swamps and palm trees of South Florida rises once again the mighty West Palm Beach Antiques Festival, June 5-7 at the South Florida Fairgrounds.
Hear the thunder now:
For June, we ride in the East Expo ONLY.
To gather all the faithful beneath one roof, the ancient mapmakers and floor plan wizards have tightened the kingdom slightly so all longtime dealers may take their rightful place in the hall.
Thus it shall be:
- Single booths: 10′ x 10′
- One and a half spaces: 10′ x 15′
- Double spaces: 10′ x 20′
- And onward across the misty battlefield of pipe and drape
Booth prices have been adjusted accordingly.
For those warriors accustomed to laying two 6′ tables across the rear fortress wall of their booth, a limited number of 4′ tables shall be available.
The floor plan scrolls are still being forged in the fires of Mount Jenkins. Final booth assignments will be delivered the day before setup.
Standard dealer entry shall pass through Gate 12.
Those arriving before the rooster crows shall enter through Gate 2.
And lo… the sacred Dispatch Line:
(561) 410-2560
Know this truth carved into stone tablets and possibly the side of a golf cart:
Dispatch is answered ONLY during setup and show hours.
If thou seekest tables, walls, electric, showcases, or aid from the kingdom, all requests must travel through Dispatch. Do not wander the halls chasing staff. Do not corner innocent workers near forklifts. And do not attempt spirit communication with Jon while he carries chairs fueled only by Diet Coke and questionable sleep decisions.
Let the load-in doors remain unblocked.
Let the aisles remain clear.
Let no dealer flee early into the night before closing hour strikes.
The drums grow louder. The crowds gather. Somewhere a chandelier sways mysteriously in the air conditioning.
Thank you for standing with us as this great monthly market continues its wild climb skyward.
We shall see you beneath the lights of the East Expo.
