One Year Anniversary

Dear West Palm Beach Vendors,

This week marks one full year since we took the reins of the West Palm Beach Antiques Festival—and what an incredible journey it’s been so far. First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Kay and Bill Puchstein for giving us the opportunity to carry this wonderful show forward. And to each of you: thank you for your support, your trust, and for welcoming me, my family, and our team with such open arms. You’ve made us feel like part of the family, and because of that, South Florida is really starting to feel like home.

I also want to give a big shout-out to our incredible show team—many of whom regularly sacrifice weekends with their own families to help make each event possible. None of this would work without their dedication behind the scenes.

In just 12 months, together we’ve grown the show by 32% over the previous year, with much of that momentum building in just the last six months. Our crowds are bigger, and excitingly, we’ve nearly doubled the number of customers under age 65—a real sign that the future is bright.

With your help, here’s what else we’ve accomplished:

  • Grown our Instagram following from 3,000 to 23,000 (hello, younger customers!)
  • Built a customer text list with 5,000 subscribers to keep people in the loop about each show
  • Expanded into additional space for events—something that hadn’t happened in years
  • Most importantly: reversed the trend. In a time when many shows are shrinking or struggling to stay full, we are growing—and the energy is contagious. This is just the beginning, and we’re only scratching the surface of the show’s true potential. We have a fantastic facility and an enormous, affluent customer base here in South Florida, and the possibilities ahead are truly exciting.

Our goal is ambitious, but simple: we want this to be the best monthly antiques, art & vintage market in the United States. And by “best,” I mean:

  • The best value for our dealers—not the most expensive place to sell
  • A place that keeps customers happy and coming back, excited to buy pieces they love and live with
  • A show with something for everyone—from Rolex to Pyrex and everything in between
  • And above all, a show you simply don’t want to miss. We hope to see many of you in the upcoming months and reach out if you wish to book a space.

From my family—my wife Dawn and our kids Graham, Cadee & Kelsey—and from our amazing team led by Janie and Alfredo (and the whole crew), thank you. We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait to see what we can all achieve together in year two.

With gratitude,
Jon & the Show Team
