Important Ohio Country Show News

Dear Ohio Country Vendor,

As you know, in May, the Ohio Country Show moved to Springfield and was held in conjunction with the Springfield Flea Market. We saw lots of positives with this move and are excited to announce that once again the Fall Ohio Country Show will be held in Springfield in conjunction with the same flea market-October 17, 2026.

Let’s talk about the show before diving into the new promoters. Gate was up for the Spring show over recent versions and we expect gate to be even higher this time. The social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) grew considerably in our lead up to the last show and we expect them to grow even more. We’ve set aside an advertising budget comparable to much larger shows.

Our goal is to attract the normal quality buyers that the Ohio Country Show always has while also offering our vendors a chance to interact with some younger, savvy buyers. We know of several sales that happened at the last show due to the social media content offered before and during the show. One such interested customer was a young woman who hadn’t even attended the show and bought something from a video she saw during the show.

We believe this show will offer dealers a chance to reach new customers while continuing to serve their current ones. Who among us doesn’t need fresh customers? We are committed to ensuring the material we love finds a new audience among younger collectors.

Jennifer Sabin has retired from running the Ohio Country Show after the last edition and we are excited to announce the new Promotions Team of Jon Jenkins, Emily Brandenburg and Matt Greig. Jon Jenkins has decades of promotion experience under his belt and you know him from The Nashville Show, The Springfield Extravaganzas and as of the last 2 years the West Palm Beach Antiques Festival (which has doubled in size since his team took it over). Jon got his start working for his parents Steve and Barbara Jenkins who created and ran numerous shows.

Emily Brandenburg is one of the leading social media experts in the antiques world. She has run accounts and advertising for some of the biggest shows and dealers in the business. Emily and Matt are both seasoned dealers. Together they have set up at some of the finest antiques shows in the US over the last few years. Matt has over 20 years of experience setting up shows and at one time promoted a very successful small antiques show at a museum in Delaware.

We are looking forward to the new version of the show and hope you are too. Please let us know if you have any questions or wish to participate. You may reply to the text message you received to request an application.

Thanks
Jon, Emily and Matt
